Paul Szilard Productions, Inc., recognized as one of the most established agencies in the world of dance, enters the 2006-2007 season under the leadership of its President, Paul Szilard and his assistant, David Protomastro.

This office has represented some of the world’s most outstanding dance Companies, as well as internationally famous dancers, choreographers and stars of the dance world. Among them the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, which toured China, Singapore and Hong Kong; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Dresden, Germany in 2004. In September and October 2005, they had a five-week tour in the United Kingdom, the first week of which was at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London. In the summer of 2006, Paul Szilard will present the Company for three weeks in Paris at the Les Etés de la Danse Festival. After this booking in Paris, Paul Szilard Productions, Inc. will hand over all international bookings of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater to the ICM Agency, which currently represents the Company domestically.

Paul Szilard is also the agent for the Universal Ballet Company of Korea, a classical ballet company with over 80 dancers which performed at the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center, the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, and in San Francisco.

Paul Szilard also represents the Hungarian National Ballet of the Budapest Opera House, a company of over 100 dancers that performed in Portugal and Greece in 2005.

A new addition to the roster of Paul Szilard Productions, Inc. is the Martha Graham Dance Company. This Company will tour Germany in July 2006 with engagements in Cologne and other cities; and they will also tour Greece in September 2006, with engagements at the Herod Atticus Theatre in Athens and at the Megaron Opera House in Thessaloniki .

This office is also the exclusive agent for all of the choreography of Alvin Ailey.

One of the most outstanding ballets of George Balanchine, “Symphony in C,” is also under the exclusive management of Paul Szilard. This ballet is being performed in major ballet companies around the world.

Paul Szilard has been working in the field of dance for over 50 years. Prior to becoming a producer and an impresario, he was an internationally known ballet dancer. His autobiography, Under My Wings: My Life as an Impresario was published to outstanding success in the United States and overseas.
